ABOUT ME AND WHY I DO THIS
Hi, let me introduce myself: I'm Valentyna Vasylieva, a children's furniture expert and a trusted friend for moms during bedtime struggles. With two kids of my own who were professionals at tumbling out of bed every night, I totally get the parental worries about nighttime safety and the endless quest for that perfectly stylish, comfy, and reliable bed for your child. Although my own little ones have grown into independent beings, I still hold dear those precious moments of bedtime chats and stories. Creating a snuggly space where kids can really blossom is what I'm all about. I believe that these simple yet meaningful moments are key to our children's joy, confidence, and boundless freedom.
MY TEAM AND OUR SERVICE
In 2013, I assembled a creative team of women in my hometown, Kyiv. Like myself, they are mothers, along with being designers, marketers, content specialists, and meticulous production masters of the highest caliber. Since then, we have collaboratively crafted the cosiest children's rooms, ensuring that children sleep sweetly and safely. Our entire creative team operates from Ukraine. While I currently reside in London, I continue to develop the business, providing prompt assistance to customers worldwide in planning and outfitting their bedrooms, selecting materials, and coordinating deliveries to their homes.
WHY OUR BEDS ARE SPECIAL
Upon seeing our beds for the first time, you'll likely be captivated by their overall aesthetics. However, for us, it's not merely about appearance; it's also about ensuring the comfort each product offers. That's why we pay careful attention to the bed's shape. It's essential for the headboard to have a slight inclination, providing comfort for sitting while reading a book or watching a film.
Our beds typically feature specific mattress sizes. This detail is crucial; the 110 cm width allows for comfortable seating beside the child, while the slightly shorter length, up to 170 cm, ensures minimal space usage in the room. Additionally, the soft protective sides of our beds are another standout feature, ensuring the safety of the child day and night.
PRODUCTION BY BESPOKE
Our family-like atmosphere as a small furniture atelier is what makes us strong. It allows us to create unique and exclusive items that are tailored to each customer's wishes by adjusting the size, softness, shape, or decor as necessary. Throughout the entire furniture-making process, we prioritise meeting the needs of our clients and acting responsibly for each step. For instance, it takes 158 frame pieces and 128 hours of meticulous labour by carpenters, seamstresses, and upholsterers to produce a single Savoya bed. We relish taking on the most difficult design tasks, combining intriguing patterns and complex arrangements of exquisite materials with vibrant colours, and making sure that anything we do receives our full attention. Atelier Lilu furniture is loved because it was created with love.
